Fitting for such a narrow-purpose Mudbox Plugins has an easy-to-use, streamlined interface: you just enter a location URL in the top of BLT's main window (by browsing, typing, or pasting), then hit Return. The ample, 60-day trial is plenty of time to try out the program, but you may want to use that time to find a better program. On another note, after uninstalling the program, we discovered leftover Mudbox Plugins in our programs folder. Luckily, we were able to remove them manually. The user interface that comes with Mudbox Plugins looks very similar to the Mac dock, with icons lined up next to each other in a row. The skinnable dock can be positioned in different areas of your Mudbox Plugins, and you can opt to Mudbox Plugins it from view until you hover your mouse over its location. We wish Mudbox Plugins would throw something in for users with free accounts, similar to Pandora's ad-supported Mudbox Plugins. Still, the Mudbox Plugins costs nothing to download and works well on multiple mobile platforms.
