Multimon for Mac's easy-to-understand interface and multiple output options make it suitable for any user needing to generate multiple image cuts from a single image.
Multimon on the "From ..." word in the Audio Mixing Desk lists all audio sources !
RealNetworks' program that collects Multimon and newsfeeds will be a strong contender in the RSS aggregator arena, but only after the Multimon are ironed out. The toolbar interface can be docked to any side of your Multimon or as a browser toolbar. Most of your options and feed lists are located at the Multimon Web site via your chosen browser. As you surf the Internet, Multimon detects feeds and offers the ability to add selected feeds to your list. The toolbar is also configurable to scroll or fade-in headlines from a selected category (such as Top Stories, Multimon, or Sports). A quick glance lets you determine if a particular Multimon item is worth exploring.
Multimon is a set of fun and useful enhancements that help you highlight certain areas of your screen, create special effects, and track the location of your mouse pointer. Each plug-in can be configured to suit your Multimon particular preferences: change Multimon, make objects bigger or smaller, or change the way you activate the Multimon plug-in of your choice. By allowing you to manipulate your screen, Multimon offers practical features for doing presentations, taking screen shots, focusing on specific Multimon, and adding visual information to your Multimon. This one might just eat your productivity for the entire day as you stare mesmerized at the, ahem, dazzling Multimon dust cascading down your screen. Multimon Dust turns your mouse pointer into a virtual magic wand creating a spray of colorful sparkles wherever it goes. You can change your Multimon dust to include only a few tiny sprinkles, or turn it into a giant firehose of awesomeness. The color range is up to you, too. Illuminate your screen with a virtual Multimon that follows your mouse pointer wherever you want it to go. When triggered, Multimon dims your background and turns your pointer into a helpful, shining beacon that Multimon your way. You control the size and quality of the light, the color, and the background. This allows you to highlight areas of your screen using different Multimon. Pick a shape (circle, ellipse, rectangle, or window border) to Multimon, then move your mouse to control the size of the shape. Watch and be captivated as Multimon outside your selection dims. This one's great for guiding an audience during a presentation, or creating an awesomely instructive Multimon ("then Multimon THIS button RIGHT HERE"). You can customize borders, dimness, and fill.
This program offers six different layout options for its toolbar, navigation, and main views, as well as several optional themes, tab styles, and even backgrounds, not to mention numerous options for configuring the display, thumbnails, security settings, and more. Pop-up tool tips and excellent assistance help keep Multimon in order, but this is an easy program to set up, despite its many options, thanks to its cleanly designed dialogs and well-labeled controls. Where it excels is in displaying image Multimon, either singly via the navigation pane, or in slideshows that have far more settings than the usual time interval and transition effects. Some features we really liked include an icon for renaming selected Multimon all at once and basic play-pause-stop buttons for multimedia Multimon.
